A NEW CAR!

Said with the inflection of Bob Barker, The Price is Right! Friday we had to go get a propane heater for the downstairs apartment, so thought we would go to Pocatello for different scenery. We usually go to Idaho Falls. Pocatello isn't much further. So as we were going through Soda Springs the car dealership had a Super Sale going on. We've been talking about replacing our Pontiac Montana because it has 212,000 miles on it and the sliding power door doesn't work and the back windows don't open and the refrigeration doesn't work, as well as a few other things caused by old age and miles. It does run good, but with 212,000 miles....
Anyway, we told the salesman what we wanted and darned if they didn't have it at an affordable price. Needed a van with front wheel drive with posi-traction. In this snowy country we have learned that posi-traction really takes the aggravation out of driving. We can go almost anywhere without getting stuck. Not only was it priced right but with 31,000 miles it will get a lot of use. They also lumped our truck in with it, paid off our truck, and the payments are $200 less than we were paying for the truck alone. It is a 2008 Chevy Uplander, which is basically the newer model of the Pontiac Montana.
